Raleigh City Museum, Local history museum in downtown Raleigh, United States.

The Raleigh City Museum presents exhibits about the development of North Carolina's capital through photographs, documents, and historical artifacts.

The museum opened in 1990 and moved to the Briggs Hardware Building, an 1874 structure with original architectural elements including a preserved tin ceiling.

The institution maintains collections documenting the diverse communities of Raleigh and their contributions to the city's development over generations.

Located on Fayetteville Street, the museum welcomes visitors Tuesday through Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM and Sundays from 1 PM to 4 PM.

The museum operates under city management while receiving support from the Friends of the COR Museum, a nonprofit organization funding educational programs.
