Masonic Temple Building

The Masonic Temple Building is a seven-story structure with limestone facing on its front elevation and buff-colored brick on the sides and rear. The building combines meeting halls for Masonic activities with commercial spaces in its lower levels.

The building was constructed in 1907 during an era of expanding Masonic influence and civic pride in Raleigh. Its later listing on the National Register of Historic Places acknowledged its role in the city's architectural and social development.
