Virginia Park Historic District, Residential historic district in New Center, Detroit, US.

The Virginia Park Historic District extends along Virginia Park Street from Woodward Avenue to John C. Lodge Freeway, featuring 92 residential lots with uniform setbacks.

Developers John W. Leggett, Frank E. Snow, and Joseph C. Hough established the district in 1893, setting specific requirements to attract prosperous residents.

The neighborhood contains residential structures built between 1895 and 1915, representing Colonial Revival, Neo-Georgian, Tudor, and Bungalow architectural styles.

A 2022 restoration project invested 2 million dollars to repair three blocks of the original 1907 brick street using Nelsonville block pavers.

The Virginia Avenue Homeowners Association formed in 1910 to protect property values from increasing commercialization along Woodward Avenue.
