Waller Apartments, Multifamily residential by Frank Lloyd Wright in Chicago, Illinois.

The Edward C. Waller Apartments consist of multiple residential units arranged around a central courtyard at 2840-2858 West Walnut Street in Chicago.

Built in 1895, the Waller Apartments emerged as one of Chicago's first attempts at subsidized housing following the great fire of 1871.

These apartments represent an early collaboration between architect Frank Lloyd Wright and developer Edward C. Waller to create housing for lower-income residents.

Each residential unit contains a parlor, bedroom, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and storage closets across multiple levels of the building complex.

The Waller Apartments received Chicago Landmark status in 1994, marking their position in both architectural innovation and social housing development.
