Wat Nawamintararachutis

The meditation center encompasses 55 acres of land with a main hall accommodating 700 people, living quarters for monks, and multiple meditation spaces.

The temple construction, completed in 2014, incorporated materials from multiple countries including limestone from Jerusalem, concrete panels from Canada, and Italian roofing tiles.

The temple maintains a museum dedicated to King Bhumibol Adulyadej and provides Thai language classes, traditional arts instruction, and regular Buddhist ceremonies.

Visitors need to remove their shoes before entering the main Buddha hall and should practice the traditional Thai greeting gesture called wai.

The temple houses a 4,000-pound Buddha statue and functions as the largest Thai Buddhist meditation center outside Thailand.
