Woodville, National Historic Landmark in Collier Township, United States

Woodville is an 18th-century mansion in Pennsylvania with two stories and authentic period architecture. The estate includes a reconstructed barn building and maintained grounds that reflect the historical character of the location.

A landowner built this house in 1775, just before the region became the center of a revolt against federal taxes. The estate was a central location during this uprising and played a role in events that shaped the region.

The name reflects the family who lived here for generations, and the property shows how people in this region carried out daily life over 200 years ago. Visitors can observe the rooms and spaces that served different purposes in their everyday routines.

The estate is located north of Interstate 79 Exit 55 on Route 50 and is easy to reach by car. Tours are organized through the local historical society, so it is recommended to check opening times in advance.

A separate kitchen building on the property was rebuilt from beams of a Belgian barn from 1810 and demonstrates traditional cooking techniques. The place preserves rare craft methods that are otherwise difficult to see.
