Cosmo Park

Cosmo Park is a large recreation area in Columbia with numerous sports facilities and green spaces spread across the grounds for playing and training. The park offers baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts, volleyball areas, walking trails, fishing locations, and a dedicated skate park.

The land was formerly a municipal airport before being converted into a recreation area. Traces of this earlier use remain visible in how the land is laid out and organized.

The skate park was designed directly with input from local skateboarders and inline skaters who helped shape its features. This collaborative approach created a facility that the skating community genuinely values and regularly uses.
