Gardner Heritage State Park

The state park facility occupied a restored firehouse building and displayed exhibits about the furniture manufacturing traditions of Gardner, Massachusetts.

The facility operated from 1985 to 2002 as an educational center focused on presenting the industrial development of Gardner through manufacturing exhibitions.

The exhibits in the center documented the evolution of furniture production techniques and the impact of this industry on the local community.

After the closure in 2002, the Gardner Museum received and maintains the collection of artifacts and historical materials from the former state park.
