Bridgeport Speedway, Racetrack
Bridgeport Speedway is a banked dirt oval track in Logan Township, New Jersey, USA. The facility has grandstand seating, restrooms, a children's play area, pit access for spectators, and two separate oval configurations that allow different racing classes to run on the same grounds.
The track has been running races for several decades and was owned by Doug Hoffman until 2013. New owners took over in 2019 and built a second outer oval before the 2020 season, adding a new racing surface to the property.
Bridgeport Speedway carries the nickname "Kingdom of Speed," which fans use proudly when talking about the track. On race days, drivers, pit crews, and returning spectators mix freely in the stands and pit area, giving the place a community feel that goes beyond simple competition.
The track sits close to Exit 14 of Interstate 295 and is easy to reach by car, with both paved and unpaved parking on site. Small coolers are welcome but glass bottles are not allowed, and card payments are accepted at the ticket booths and concession stands.
Bridgeport Speedway is widely considered the fastest dirt track on the East Coast, which is why top series like the Super DIRTcar Series and USAC Midgets regularly schedule events here. The two-oval setup also means that on big weekends, several racing divisions run at the same time on the same property, which is rare for a dirt facility.
