Umm Al Emarat Park is an urban garden in Abu Dhabi featuring multiple sections including an amphitheater, animal barn, botanical garden, and children's play area. An evening pavilion and various outdoor activity spaces are distributed throughout the grounds.
The park was originally founded in 1982 as Mushrif Park and later underwent major renovations. The redesign preserved more than 200 trees from the original landscaping.
The Wisdom Garden displays notable passages from Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan that emphasize environmental preservation and national identity. These messages shape how visitors experience the grounds as they move through different zones.
The park is easy to reach by foot or car and has ample parking on the grounds at multiple entry points. Visiting early in the morning or later in the afternoon helps you avoid the heat and enjoy more space in the facilities.
The Shade House contains 40 plant species in a moisture-controlled environment, displaying rare varieties from different climates. Two elevated decks provide visitors with viewing points across the entire garden landscape.
