St. Stephen-in-the-Fields Anglican Church, Anglican church in Kensington Market, Toronto, Canada.
The red brick church features Gothic Revival architecture with grey stone trim, solid buttresses, and ornate stained glass windows from the 1860s.
Founded in 1857 by Robert Brittain Denison, this church became the first Anglican establishment west of Spadina Avenue, serving farm workers from Bellevue House.
The church maintains an active role in community support through regular meals, prayer services, and partnerships with local health initiatives in Kensington Market.
Located at 103 Bellevue Avenue, the church offers weekday evening prayers, meditation sessions, Bible studies, and community drop-in dinners throughout the week.
In 1927, St. Stephen-in-the-Fields became the first Canadian church to broadcast religious services internationally through radio stations CFRB and VE9GW.
