Jewish Museum Berlin

The museum, established in 2001, occupies both a baroque building from 1735 and a modern extension that narrates German-Jewish history through multiple exhibition spaces.

The permanent exhibition presents two millennia of Jewish heritage in Germany through artifacts, documents, photographs, multimedia installations, and personal stories from Jewish communities.

Located near Kochstrasse U-Bahn station, the museum welcomes visitors Monday from 10:00 to 22:00 and Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00.

The building incorporates empty spaces called voids that extend vertically through the structure, representing the absence of Jewish life in Berlin during the Holocaust.
