Marokkanisches Haus, Moroccan-style building in Oberammergau, Germany.
The Moroccan House features Oriental architectural elements, including reinforced windows and a chimney designed to resemble a minaret, with detailed exterior ornaments.
The structure was originally acquired at the 1878 Paris World Exhibition by King Ludwig II and later relocated to Oberammergau where it remained until 1980.
The interior design incorporates a Moorish prayer niche and Arabic calligraphy, reflecting the German fascination with Oriental architecture during the 19th century.
Visitors can view the interior furnishings through a glass entrance area located at coordinates 47°34'17.0"N, 10°57'26.3"E in Oberammergau.
After its purchase by the state in 1980, the wooden structure underwent complete restoration and now stands as an example of Oriental influence in German architecture.
