Marokkanisches Haus

The Moroccan House is an Oriental-style building in Oberammergau with distinctive architectural features such as reinforced windows and a chimney shaped like a minaret. The facade displays elaborate ornaments that reflect Moorish design traditions.

The building was originally purchased by King Ludwig II at the 1878 Paris World Exhibition. It was later transported to Oberammergau, where it remained until the state acquired and fully restored it in 1980.
