Pegelturm

Pegelturm is a steel observation tower in Mühlbeck that rises above the flat landscape surrounding Muldestausee. From the top, visitors gain an open view across the lake area and the surrounding shoreline.

The tower was originally built to monitor water levels in the lakes and channels of Muldestausee. This water management function remains an important aspect of the structure today.

The observation tower functions as a central meeting point for local residents who gather for outdoor activities and community events throughout the year.

Visitors reach the tower via marked paths from nearby parking areas. The structure remains accessible during daylight hours, and the route is generally easy to navigate for most people.
