St. Maria, Catholic chapel in Limburg an der Lahn, Germany.
The St. Maria chapel features dark basalt stone facades and a gabled roof design that integrates with the surrounding old town architecture of Limburg.
The chapel construction began in 2004 when the Cathedral Chapter approved renovation plans for the Old Vicariate, leading to its consecration in November 2012.
The interior houses a statue of patron Mary surrounded by twelve lanterns, along with glass windows designed by Johannes Schreiter depicting biblical events.
The chapel offers monthly guided tours since September 2013, allowing visitors to explore both the new episcopal residence and the religious space.
The structure reaches a height of 13.20 meters with an interior ceiling height of 11.80 meters and contains a historical winged altar from the diocese collection.
