Fichtepark, Public park in Plauen district, Dresden, Germany.

Fichtepark is a public park in Dresden's Plauen district with expansive green spaces and distinctive features. A pond forms the center of the grounds, while pathways wind through the area and two sculptures depict children with aquatic animals.

The park was founded in 1891 and originally called Westendpark. A foundation financed its creation following a competition, and a notable tower was built there in 1896.

The place is named after philosopher Johann Gottlieb Fichte. Today visitors can see the two remaining child sculptures that give a sense of how the park was once decorated.

The park is accessible from several streets and offers multiple entry points for visitors. The restored pond is easy to locate and serves as a landmark for orientation while walking through the grounds.

Within the green grounds stands a tower from the 19th century that once had a different name and was renamed later. This structure is less known than the park itself but deserves attention for its height and historical background.
