Brömsehaus, Historical merchant house in Lüneburg, Germany.
The Brömsehaus extends over two floors with a central hall measuring five meters high and eighteen meters wide, featuring painted wooden beam ceilings.
Construction of this Gothic-style hall house took place between 1406 and 1426, serving as the residence of merchant Dietrich Brömse until 1579.
The building displays heraldic shields of Hanseatic cities Gdańsk, Lübeck, Lüneburg, Riga, along with the Brömse family coat of arms on its facade.
The German-Baltic Cultural Foundation maintains the building, which underwent extensive restoration work in 2012 and 2013 to preserve its structure.
The decorative Baroque room, added in 1637, contains a stucco ceiling depicting biblical parables and scenes from that period.
