Sömmering-Halle

Sömmering-Halle is an indoor sports stadium in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, offering a modern competition venue built with reinforced concrete. The building holds about 2800 seats and spans roughly 1780 square meters of indoor space for various sporting events.

The building was designed by renowned architect Ludwig Leo and opened in 1964. Its functionalist design received protected monument status during the architect's lifetime, recognizing the significance of this approach.

The hall serves as a regular meeting place for Berlin's sports community, hosting basketball, handball, and other indoor competitions. These events shape the sporting life of the district and draw fans who come to support their teams.
