AOK Verwaltungsgebäude, Heritage administration building at Sternplatz, Dresden, Germany
The AOK Verwaltungsgebäude spans 96 meters in length and reaches a tower height of 37.46 meters with concrete construction and large-scale forms.
The building, constructed in 1912 on former cemetery grounds, survived the 1945 Dresden bombings alongside the Annenkirche while surrounding structures were destroyed.
Two tuff stone figures representing a nursing mother and a worker stand at the portal entrance, with an Atlas figure between the doors.
The building serves as one of two main offices for AOK Plus, providing health insurance services to Dresden residents at Sternplatz 7.
The construction required participation from 150 Dresden companies and cost 3,134,083.45 marks in 1912.
