Kloster Rosenthal, Cistercian monastery ruins in Kerzenheim, Germany.
The monastery complex includes church ruins, a pond, and an inn situated in the Rodenbachtal valley of North Palatinate region.
Count Eberhard IV of Eberstein and his wife Adelheid of Sayn established the monastery in 1241, with its first church consecrated in 1261.
The Historical Association manages the monastery ruins, which serve as a venue for concerts, weddings, and Christmas Eve musical celebrations.
The site opens from April to October with guided tours available, plus a museum displaying monastery artifacts in the Nassauer Sälchen building.
During its peak in 1496, the monastery accommodated 70 people, including 31 choir nuns and 24 servants managing the religious community.
