Vater Unser Kapelle is a modern chapel featuring a hexagonal footprint and an 18-meter spire that rises distinctly above the landscape. Large windows are integrated throughout the walls, allowing natural light to flood the interior space.
History
The chapel was constructed between 1967 and 1968 under architect Werner Groh's design. Publisher Theophil Herder-Dorneich and his wife Elisabeth commissioned this project as a personal religious structure.
