Väike-Maarja Church

Väike-Maarja Church is a Gothic structure in Estonia featuring three nave sections and thick stone walls that define its interior layout. A pointed spire rises above the building and was reconstructed after being destroyed at an earlier point.

The building was constructed in 1346 as a fortress church designed with strong walls for defense. A church tower was added in the 19th century but later sustained damage that required rebuilding.

The church displays stained glass windows created by Riho Hütt that shape how light enters the interior space. These artistic pieces define the atmosphere and create a reflective mood for those who visit.
