Liigvalla Manor, Late Baroque manor in Koeru parish, Estonia.
Liigvalla Manor is a two-story stone residence in Koeru parish featuring a symmetrical facade and balanced window placement characteristic of late 18th-century design. The building displays typical late Baroque architectural proportions and details, though it now shows significant structural deterioration.
The stone building was constructed in 1797 under Gustav Wilhelm Friedrich von Rehbinder's direction, replacing an earlier wooden structure. This rebuild represented a shift toward a more permanent and representative architectural form for the estate.
Friedrich Robert Faehlmann, who later became an important Estonian intellectual, attended school in the manor's steward house during his childhood years.
The estate is challenging to visit as the main building requires extensive restoration and has sustained damage. Visitors should expect that the interior may not be accessible and approach the site cautiously.
The estate's park, which once featured decorative ponds and landscaping, has vanished entirely from the grounds. Today only open fields remain where formal gardens once existed.
