Besiberri Sud

Besiberri Sud is a granite mountain peak rising to 3,023 meters in the Pyrenees. Its rocky slopes feature multiple climbing paths that wind through exposed terrain and bouldered sections.

This peak has served as a natural marker between neighboring valleys for centuries, playing a role in the mountain landscape of the Pyrenees. Local communities have long recognized it as a significant geographical reference point.

The peak forms part of seznam 100 vrhov FEEC, a collection of significant mountain summits that represent the mountaineering heritage of the region.

Climbers need proper mountain gear and good physical conditioning before attempting this peak. The closest mountain shelter is Refugi Nou de Besiberri, which provides basic lodging and supplies for those preparing for the climb.

The summit sits near the higher peak of Comaloforno, which towers about 300 meters to the southeast, surprising many visitors with this hidden neighbor. Despite being lower, this peak attracts climbers for its more engaging rock terrain.
