Basílica de Nuestra Señora de las Angustias, Baroque basilica in Granada, Spain.
The church features two tall towers with glazed tile spires and a central facade made of Sierra Elvira stone displaying a sculpture of the Pietà.
The construction of the basilica began in 1617 on the site of a former hermitage dedicated to Saint Susanna and Saint Ursula.
Every September, thousands of locals participate in a flower offering to the Virgin on the 15th and join the procession to the cathedral on the last Sunday.
The basilica opens daily from 7:30 to 13:30 and 18:00 to 21:00, with hourly masses from 8:00 to 12:00 on weekdays and additional services on Sundays.
The central altarpiece houses the image of the Virgin of Sorrows, originally sculpted as a Solitude figure with blue tunic and no mantle.
