Dòrria

Located at an elevation of 1,550 meters, Dòrria presents stone buildings and narrow paths that wind through the settlement against the Pyrenees backdrop.

The settlement received official recognition as a Cultural Asset of National Interest and Bien de Interés Cultural designation on June 4, 1996.

The buildings in Dòrria demonstrate vernacular architecture techniques, incorporating local materials and construction methods that span multiple generations.

Visitors can access several marked hiking trails from the village center, with the Volta al bosc de Dòrria route taking approximately three hours to complete.

The village maintains a permanent population of 13 residents at one of the highest elevations in Catalonia, preserving traditional mountain life practices.
