Built between 1888 and 1890 by architect General Guitart i Lostaló, the casino underwent an expansion in 1899 that added new architectural elements while maintaining its style.
The establishment served as headquarters for progressive youth called 'Nois' who organized activities including philately, library management, and discussion forums.
Located at Passeig dels Guíxols 1-3, the building now houses a restaurant where visitors can experience dining within a Cultural Asset of National Interest.
The entrance combines a medieval Catalan vaulted door with an Arabic horseshoe arch, representing a fusion of distant architectural traditions.
