Osuna Palace, Aranjuez, Neoclassical mansion in Aranjuez, Spain.
Osuna Palace is a two-story neoclassical residence in central Aranjuez with symmetrical facades and grand reception halls. The building features both formal spaces for entertaining and private chambers arranged across its substantial floor area.
The residence was designed in 1751 by Santiago Bonavia for the celebrated castrato Farinelli under royal commission. The building was later modified by Juan de Villanueva when it became the seat of the Osuna family.
The palace once hosted nobles and artists who gathered in its elegant rooms for cultural exchange. Visitors can still see the grand spaces where important figures of the era came together.
The palace is located in the central area of Aranjuez and can be easily reached from the main streets. Visitors should note that the building is currently in a compromised condition, which may limit access or viewing opportunities.
A major fire in 2018 caused the roof to collapse onto the upper floor and severely damaged the interior spaces. The palace was subsequently added to the Red List of Endangered Heritage due to this event.
