Château de Bierville, Castle in Boissy-la-Rivière, France.

Château de Bierville is an 18th-century manor house with stone facades and multiple reception rooms spread across different floors. The oldest surviving structure on the grounds is a dovecote dating from the 14th century.

An earlier fortress at this location was founded by a knight in the 11th century, of which only the 14th-century dovecote remains today. In the 20th century the property underwent multiple transformations, first as a youth hostel and later as a training and events center.

The place is named after the knight who built the original fortress in the 11th century. Today it serves as a gathering space where visitors and groups come together for meetings and celebrations.

The property now operates as a training and events center with facilities for conferences and celebrations. Visitors should check ahead about access since the estate is used for specific functions and occasions.

During World War II the property sheltered displaced persons before suffering damage during the German occupation. This experience shaped its later transformations and made the site a symbol of rebuilding and renewal.
