Moel Tŷ Uchaf stone circle, Bronze Age stone circle at Moel Tŷ Uchaf, North Wales, Great Britain.
The stone circle contains 41 upright stones arranged in a 12-meter diameter circle with a central burial chamber at 440 meters elevation.
Archaeological evidence suggests this Bronze Age monument, dating from 2000-1500 BCE, served as a ceremonial site for ancient communities in North Wales.
The circle represents an example of prehistoric engineering, with stones carefully positioned to create a permanent marker visible across the Welsh landscape.
Visitors can reach the circle by following a mile-long path from the red postbox near Afon Llynor bridge, north of Llandrillo village.
The central cist burial chamber distinguishes this monument from other stone circles, indicating its dual purpose as both ceremonial ground and burial site.
