All Saints Pastoral Centre

All Saints Pastoral Centre is a retreat and conference facility located in the village of London Colney, housed within a Grade II listed building complex. The property features a garden layout with an inner cloister that connects multiple meeting spaces, making it easy for visitors to move between different areas.

Architect Leonard Stokes designed and built the structure between 1899 and 1901 for the Anglican Society of All Saints Sisters of the Poor. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Westminster acquired the site in 1973 and has operated it as a pastoral and conference center ever since.

The name All Saints reflects its roots in the Anglican tradition that founded it originally. Today, religious communities gather here to meet, learn, and share experiences across different faiths.

The bell tower of the Comper Chapel rewards those who climb its stairs with sweeping views across the surrounding landscape. From the top, visitors can see across to both Radlett and St Albans in the distance, making the climb a pleasant surprise.
