Burford Bridge Hotel, Grade II listed hotel in Mickleham, England

The Burford Bridge Hotel stands at the foot of Box Hill, featuring 57 rooms along Old London Road with an outdoor swimming pool and gardens.

Initially established in 1254 as the Fox and Hounds, the hotel includes parts of buildings from the 16th century and a relocated medieval tithe barn from Abinger Hammer.

John Keats completed his poem Endymion at this location in 1817, while Lord Nelson held secret meetings with Emma Hamilton before the Battle of Trafalgar.

The hotel provides meeting facilities for up to 180 guests, modern rooms with air conditioning, and an outdoor heated pool operating from July through September.

A 16th-century medieval tithe barn was transported from nearby Abinger Hammer and reconstructed to create the banqueting suite in 1934.
