Church of St Peter and St Paul, Ormskirk

The Church of St Peter and St Paul is a medieval parish church with a prominent tower and spire at its western end. The structure uses coursed squared sandstone with stone slate roofs throughout.

The church dates to the 12th century and contains a Norman window in the north wall of the chancel from around 1170. This early origin makes it an important record of medieval architecture in the region.
