The church features trefoil windows, a multi-sided apse, and a plain Gothic Revival exterior contrasting with its decorated interior containing extensive paintings.
After a fire destroyed the previous church in 1887, architect Charles Alban Buckler designed this structure, which opened on July 6, 1889.
The interior walls display Nathaniel Westlake's murals from 1908-1911, depicting biblical scenes including the Nativity and Last Supper.
The church holds Mass services twice on Sundays at 9 AM and 11 AM, with additional services on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 10 AM.
As part of the Parish of the Good Shepherd, this Grade II listed building extends its religious services into the Hollington area of Hastings.
