St John the Baptist's Church, Crawley

St John the Baptist's Church is a medieval parish church in Crawley built from Sussex limestone with a tall western tower rising above the structure. The nave features enlarged windows from later periods, while the chancel was fully reconstructed in 1879.

The church was founded around 1250 as a chapel serving Slaugham parish before becoming independent. Its tower was added during the 15th century and has remained a landmark of the area ever since.
