Dyffryn Gardens, Garden in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales
The 55-acre gardens contain themed garden rooms, formal lawns, kitchen gardens, and an arboretum with trees from different global regions.
John Cory established the gardens in 1893, collaborating with garden designer Thomas Mawson to create a landscape that complemented the Victorian mansion.
Each section of the gardens reflects international influences, including an Italian-styled Pompeiian Garden and a collection of exotic plant specimens.
The gardens open daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with entry fees of £12.00 for adults and £6.00 for children under supervision.
The arboretum contains specimens of Acer griseum, grown from seeds brought directly from China by plant collector Ernest Wilson.
