Built between 1736 and 1744 on the foundations of a medieval church, the structure retains its original 14th-century tower designed by Francis Smith.
The interior displays a reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper in the apse and contains stained glass windows by Burne-Jones.
The church holds weekly Holy Communion services every Sunday at 10:30 AM and offers facilities for baptisms, weddings, and funeral ceremonies.
The west end vestry has been converted into a café and gift shop while maintaining the building's Grade I listed status.
