Church of St John the Divine, Brooklands, Gothic Revival parish church in Brooklands, England
The Church of St John the Divine features a six-bay nave with large three-light windows, square corner pinnacles, and a prominent west window.
The construction of this Grade II* listed building was completed in 1864 under the direction of architect Alfred Waterhouse, who specialized in Victorian architecture.
The interior incorporates yellow brick with polychromatic patterns, while a south nave window displays stained glass crafted by Morris & Co in 1897.
The connected St John's Centre provides community services, including education programs, recreation activities, and essential resources for Trafford residents.
The north vestry porch contains a specially inscribed doorway with the text 'Let Thy Priests Be Clothed With Righteousness' carved into the stone.
