The temple construction began in 1984, transforming from an initial bamboo framework into a permanent structure along the Visakhapatnam Beach Road.
Adjacent to the main shrine stands a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, containing a distinctive Rasalinga formed from a single stone weighing 10 kilograms.
The temple welcomes visitors daily from 6:00 AM to noon and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with no entry fee and convenient access via auto-rickshaws or buses.
The temple complex includes designated areas for the priest's residence, administrative offices, and ritual spaces, positioned 4 kilometers from Visakhapatnam Railway Station.
