Chandragutti Renukamba Temple

Chandragutti Renukamba Temple is an ancient cave temple nestled within a rocky hill near Soraba town. The shrine houses the goddess Renuka, also known as Guthiyamma, and features a half-moon shaped chamber carved directly into the stone.

The temple displays architectural elements from the Chalukya period combined with artistic features from the Kadamba school of Banavasi. These layered styles reflect different eras of temple building across South Indian history.
