Tabiat Bridge, Three-level steel footbridge in District 3, Tehran, Iran.

Tabiat Bridge is a three-level steel footbridge in District 3 of Tehran that stretches 270 meters across Modares Expressway. Tree-shaped columns support the three connected levels and reach 28 meters in height.

Iranian architect Leila Araghian designed this steel structure, which opened in October 2014 after four years of construction. The project used 2000 tonnes of material during its realization.

The name means nature in Persian and reflects the intention to connect green spaces rather than divide them. Locals come here to walk and meet, using the benches and enjoying views across the city.

The footbridge links Taleghani Park with Ab-o-Atash Park and offers walking paths, restaurants, and seating areas across sections of varying width. Visitors can move between the three levels and experience different perspectives of the surroundings.

The construction contains openings that allow trees to grow through, integrating plants directly into the three-dimensional truss system. This design combines engineering with natural elements in an unusual way.
