Mohammad Baqer Galibaf, the 55th Mayor of Tehran, inaugurated Ab-o-Atash Park on June 27, 2009, introducing a new recreational space.
Metal monuments across the park depict the story of Prophet Ebrahim, who received divine protection from fire according to religious texts.
Three major highways - Haghani, Modares, and Hemmat - surround the park, providing direct access from different sections of Tehran.
The Abrisham Bridge connects Ab-o-Atash Park to Nowruz Park while Tabiat Bridge links it to Taleqani Forest Park at 40 meters elevation.
