Ab-o-Atash Park

Ab-o-Atash Park is an urban recreational space in District 3 featuring four fire towers that shoot flames up to 8 meters (26 feet) high synchronized with music. The grounds span roughly 24,000 square meters and include water fountains and metal art installations.

The park opened on June 27, 2009, under the direction of then-Tehran Mayor Mohammad Baqer Galibaf. This inauguration marked the introduction of a new recreational destination during a period of city expansion.

Metal sculptures throughout the space illustrate the story of Prophet Ibrahim receiving divine protection from fire according to religious tradition. These artworks shape how visitors move through and experience the park's symbolic landscape.

The location sits between three major highways - Haghani, Modares, and Hemmat - which offer direct access from various parts of Tehran. This positioning makes it straightforward to arrive from different neighborhoods and explore the grounds.

The space connects to neighboring green areas through two bridges: the Abrisham Bridge leads to Nowruz Park, while the Tabiat Bridge rises 40 meters above ground to reach Taleqani Forest Park. These connections allow visitors to explore multiple parks without crossing roads.
