A.S.P. Towers

A.S.P. Towers, Residential skyscraper complex in Amir Abad, Iran.

The A.S.P. Towers comprise three 24-story residential buildings made of reinforced concrete with a total floor area of 130,500 square meters in Amir Abad. The complex features gymnasiums, swimming pools, kindergartens, cafes, and shops located on the ground levels throughout.

The towers were inaugurated by Empress Farah Diba in 1976 and marked a major turning point in Tehran's urban development during the final years of the Pahlavi dynasty. Their completion coincided with a period of great transformation that reshaped the city.

The complex displays hallmarks of Pahlavi-era modernism through its clean lines and functional design, reflecting how people approached urban living in the 1970s. Visitors can observe the geometric forms and open spaces between the towers, which shaped how residents experienced their surroundings.

Access to the buildings is straightforward through main entrances, and visitors can navigate easily thanks to clear signage marking the facilities on the ground floors. It is advisable to visit during daytime when cafes and shops are open for the full experience.

Prior to 1979, apartments in the complex required security clearance from authorities for purchase, reflecting how tightly controlled this address was at the time. The buildings also provided shelter for high-ranking government officials during the turbulent revolutionary period.
