Castel Malgolo, Medieval castle in Romeno, Italy

The castle stands between apple orchards and woods along the road connecting Romeno to the Malgolo district, featuring angular towers and 17th-century windows.

The initial structure from 1342 consisted only of the Grande Tower, which was later transformed into a fortress and residence by the Lords of Coredo.

The interior holds the genealogical tree of the Concini family along with historical portraits, representing the noble heritage of the Val di Non region.

The castle remains a private residence that visitors can observe solely from the exterior, located at al Castello street in Romeno, Trentino.

Baron Raffaele de Concini saved the structure from deterioration through extensive renovations between 1891 and 1914, shaping its current Romanesque appearance.
