Gate City Ohsaki

Gate City Ohsaki consists of two interconnected towers reaching 98 and 108.8 meters, featuring marble interiors and multi-story atriums with water features and plants throughout. The complex integrates directly with Osaki Station through pedestrian decks and includes 35 retail shops.

The building was completed in February 1999 after 15 years of planning and development. The project represented a major investment that transformed the Osaki area into a modern urban center.

The complex features a sunken garden in Provence style that hosts exhibitions and events throughout the year. This space brings together office workers and local residents in a shared gathering place.

The complex connects directly to Osaki Station through convenient pedestrian passages that are easy to navigate. You will find the space most lively during weekday business hours when office workers fill the corridors.

The building employs an advanced district heating and cooling system powered by a 10,000-ton thermal storage tank beneath the complex. This infrastructure made it one of the earliest examples of large-scale energy-efficient building systems in the city.
