Gate City Ohsaki, Mixed-use skyscraper in Osaki, Japan

Gate City Ohsaki integrates two interconnected towers reaching heights of 98 and 108.8 meters, featuring marble interiors and multi-story atriums filled with water elements and plants.

The construction project, completed in February 1999, required 15 years of planning and development with a total investment of 160 billion Japanese yen.

The building incorporates a sunken garden designed in Provence style, hosting regular exhibitions and events that bring together local residents and office workers.

The complex connects directly to Osaki Station through pedestrian decks and contains 35 retail stores across 11,106 square meters of commercial space.

The facility operates with an electric district heating and cooling system, utilizing a 10,000-ton thermal storage tank in its underground facilities.
