San Riccardo Pampuri church

Architect Guido Canella designed this house of worship in 1990 to replace the earlier San Martino church that stood in the historic center of Zeloforamagno. The move reflected a deliberate choice to establish the religious space in this newer section of town.

The brick and wooden design references traditional Lombard farmhouses while embracing modern building methods. This blend creates a place that feels current yet rooted in the local area's character.

The building holds regular Catholic services and opens directly onto a covered public square that functions as a community gathering spot. The level access and simple layout make it easy to navigate, with clear sightlines and open spaces guiding visitors through the interior.
