Kiyosu Bridge, Self-anchored suspension bridge in Kōtō-ku, Japan.

Kiyosu Bridge is a self-anchored steel suspension bridge spanning the Sumida River and connecting the neighborhoods of Nakasu and Kiyosumi. The structure carries four traffic lanes and wide pedestrian pathways, with suspension elements that gracefully cross the water.

The bridge was completed in 1928 as part of Tokyo's reconstruction following the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake. It represents the engineering advances of that era and was later recognized as an important cultural property.

The bridge links two neighborhoods and is used daily by pedestrians and vehicles alike, with its steel structure displaying early modern engineering skill. Its status as a cultural property reflects how Tokyo's residents view this crossing as part of their urban identity.

The bridge is open to pedestrians and vehicles throughout the day without special requirements. Good views are available from the walkways, especially during clear weather and evening hours.

The bridge receives pink lighting from sunset until 11 PM, creating a distinctive appearance against the city skyline. This illumination makes it a notable feature that sets it apart from other river crossings in the city.
