Ikoma Sanjō Amusement Park, Mountain amusement park in Ikoma, Japan
Located at an elevation of 642 meters on Mount Ikoma, this amusement park provides views across both the Osaka Plain and Nara Basin.
Established by Osaka Electric Tramway in 1929, the park introduced Japan's first large-scale playground attraction, the 30-meter-high Big Flight Tower.
The park incorporates traditional Japanese design elements throughout its grounds, featuring spaces for families to enjoy recreational activities together.
Access to the park requires a 15-minute cable car journey from Ikoma Station, with operations running from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Thursdays.
From the summit location, visitors can observe a 360-degree panorama of Osaka's cityscape, which received the Cool Japan Award in 2019.
