Seibu-en, Theme park in Tokorozawa, Japan.
Seibu-en is a leisure and theme park in Tokorozawa in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. The grounds include rides such as a Ferris wheel, an observation tower, and zones with different themes.
The park opened in January 1950 under the name East Murayama Cultural Garden. The Seibu railway company later expanded the offerings and added new themed sections from 2021 onward.
The name comes from the Seibu Railway company that owns and runs the grounds. Visitors today see rides alongside zones devoted to Japanese film characters and comics that reflect local entertainment culture.
The park is generally open during daytime hours, with longer opening times on weekends. Each attraction requires its own admission beyond the general entrance to the grounds.
In the evening the attractions light up and trace patterns across the grounds. The observation tower offers views toward the Tokyo skyline on clear days.
