Tokorozawa Lily Garden

Tokorozawa Lily Garden is a flower garden in Kami-Yamaguchi with large spaces filled with lilies in different colors. Many different varieties grow side by side here, each with their own bloom times throughout the year.

The garden was founded in 2005 and sits on the grounds of a former park. This transformation made the place a center for lily cultivation and tourism in the region.

The garden displays how lilies are grown and valued in Japan, with different varieties visible throughout the year during their respective bloom times. The plants are tended using traditional methods that preserve knowledge about flower cultivation passed down over generations.

The garden is within walking distance of a nearby train station and has several paths that wind through the plantings. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes since there are some trails to explore.

The garden has two different routes for different types of visitors: a longer trail for those wanting to explore the landscape and a shorter one for those wanting to see the blooms up close. This approach lets everyone enjoy the garden at their own pace.
